"Un gîte merveilleux, des murs de pierre frais nous ont permis de rester sains d'esprit pendant la canicule. La piscine avec vue sur les vignes était magnifique. Les tournesols aussi sont fabuleux. Nous avons trouvé un seau de livres que nos enfants ont dévoré ainsi que les aires de jeux extérieures et intérieures. Nous avons apprécié les repas à Jarnac et Angoulême. Steph et Charlie sont des hôtes impeccables.”

."Un petit coin de paradis. Tout est présent pour se reposer, jouer avec les enfants et se soucier de rien. Que se soit l’accueil, la convivialité et surtout le service, Stéphanie et Charly se mettent véritablement en 4 pour vous satisfaire. La literie comme le linge de maison sont de qualité et la propreté est impériale. Même si 3 gîtes sont présents, les aménagements et la place disponible font que tout se passe au mieux pour la famille, tant sur les aires de jeux qu'au bord de la jolie piscine très bien aménagée. Une véritable mention à ce couple d'Anglais, amoureux de la France et qui savent vous recevoir comme j'ai rarement vu. “Nous aimerions tellement garder secrète cette adresse de qualité. Pour un moment à deux, le gîte nous a convenu à merveille : le logement et son espace extérieur privé, la grande salle commune et le coin sofa commun, les jeux extérieurs, la piscine où chacun a son espace sous la toile tendue. La détente est assurée. Stéphanie et Charlie sont des hôtes incroyablement remarquables, de par leur bienveillance, leurs attentions, leur discrétion. Ils aiment sincèrement ce qu'ils font, et ils vous feront vous sentir comme chez vous.”

Wonderful gite, cool stone walls kept us sane in the heatwave. Pool overlooking the vines was glorious. Sunflowers also fabulous. We found a bucket of books which our children devoured as well as the craft, toys and “tree house” in the rafters of an outdoor barn. We enjoyed eating out on Jarnac and Angouleme. Steph and Charlie are impeccable hosts.

A little corner of paradise. Everything is present to rest, play with the children and worry about nothing. Whether it is the welcome, the friendliness or, above all, the service, Stéphanie and Charly really do their utmost to satisfy you. The bedding and household linen are of the highest quality and the cleanliness is impeccable. Even though there are 3 gîtes, the facilities and space available mean that everything runs smoothly for the family, both on the playgrounds and by the lovely, well-equipped swimming pool. A real mention to this English couple, in love with France and who know how to receive you as I have rarely seen. "My husband, 19 month old and I have just returned from a 10 day stay at The Courtyard and had the most incredible time. The Courtyard is beautiful and so well set up for children, it's hard to know where to start! The gites are beautiful, spacious, the best kitchen set up we've seen, proper cots, comfy beds, sofas and a private garden, not to mention loads of books and toys for children of all ages and the extra stuff you don't want to have to pack like a highchair, non slip mat etc. Then in the grounds (which are gated) a play area with swings, slide etc. and a lovely pool with loads of space.   Can't recommend The Courtyard enough."
